My boots fit!!!!!
Okay, well they’ve always fit my feet. I wouldn’t have bought them otherwise. But, when I first bought them back in February, they did not go that high up on my leg. At all. They sit a little under my knees right now and they’re completely comfortable and not too tight, even though this is the first time I’ve worn them… since I bought them.
I’d been wanting a pair of these gorgeous, purple Nine West boots since November, but whenever I found them they either a. weren’t in my size or b. weren’t purple. So, when I was up in Seattle with my parents over the Valentine’s Day weekend this year and I found a pair of these in the mall, I had to have them. My mama was willing to pay for them, so I especially had to have them.
Unfortunately, when I tried them on, I couldn’t quite pull them all the way up over my calves. Instead of going up over my calves and resting below my knees like they were supposed to, they got stuck at the bottom of the curve of my calf and refused to budge. My mama kept asking if they were supposed to fit like that, the sale’s associate asked if I needed a larger size, and I kept trying to pull those fuckers up higher. But they fit in the actual foot area just fine, so getting a bigger size wouldn’t have made sense! Eventually I just told everyone I liked the way they fit and I bought them.
I never wore them, they just ended up sitting in my closet, in their box, underneath a couple bags of things…
Until now!
I’m so glad I suddenly got the urge to wear them, because they actually fit now! I just want to put them on and jump around because THEY FIT. I really shouldn’t have bought shoes that, you know, didn’t fit, but they do now, so I’m going to have to say that it was a good call on my part. ;)
