Top Ten Songs to Exercise To
When I exercise, I turn on the same playlist I use when I dance (which is also exercise, just a more bootylicious form of it!), so this is not only my top ten songs to exercise to, but my top ten songs to dance to.
I have fancied Señor Iglesias since I was like… ten. So there is nothing more beautiful and encouraging than his sweet voice. Como te quiero, Enrique, como te quiero.
My mama insists that this is the best song ever when going up-hill on a walk. The only steep hill I usually ever go up is the street I live on, but it sure does get me super jazzed when it comes on and I’m tired!
Pffft, of course you have to dance to this, it makes you shake those hips. I also maybe shake them a little when I’m out walking, I just can’t help it. :D
4. Love Don’t Cost a Thing- Jennifer Lopez
There’s just something about the beat that makes me want to strut down the street instead of simply walking/jogging like a normal person. It’s super fun, I swear.
I don’t care what anybody says, I fucking love this song and sometimes I have to press the back button and listen to it again because it’s just that good.
6. Your Love is My Drug- Ke$ha
This one also gets me strutting like a dork and walking faster than I normally do and is super good for pumping the blood back up when I’m getting a little fatigued.
Enriqueeeeeeeeee. I’m going to pretend I have dignity and insist this is just good to walk to because of the beat.
I love Lady Gaga. She’s so fucking grand and I always want to just break out dancing in the middle of the sidewalk when I’m walking to this song.
I like to listen to this when I’m aaaalmost home to get all super jazzed again. It works somehow.
10. The Cup of Life- Ricky Martin
GO GO GO! is the best thing to hear when exercising. ‘Nough said.
I would insist that I only listen to these songs for the good beats and that my taste in music is soooo much better, but it’s not. I love this shit all the time. Haters gonna hate. Anyway, like I said before, I also love dancing to these songs. I think club music and hip hop and latin beats are the best for exercising because they’re so upbeat and it’s easy to fall into a quicker pace when that’s the beat playing in your ear. Sometimes I walk to slower songs or songs that I just like listening to, but they’re just not as good for getting the blood flowing as these ones.
