Welcome to Honestly Healthy and Happy!

I’m starting this blog as a means of documenting my journey to finding my bliss, learning to love myself, and, of course, becoming Honestly Healthy and Happy. I went through quite a few names in my head, but I finally decided on that one because not only is it alliterative, but it pretty much sums up what I’m wanting in life.

Part of this personal journey is weight loss/diet/exercise, but I also think there’s so much more to it. My life isn’t all about what I eat (though it is a major part, and I love to cook), and it isn’t all about how many miles I can walk/reps I can do/push ups I did this morning. Those things are part of my life, but so are laying on the back deck tanning, shopping for new shoes, and watching Enchanted for the 50th time this month.

The point is, while at this time this blog will probably focus a lot on how happy my weight loss is making me, I don’t intend for it to always be like that! I also want to talk about the silly little things that make me happy, or maybe the things that make me unhappy that I want to change. On top of that, I’d really like you, the reader, to share with me what helps you to be Honestly Healthy and Happy.

And as for what I think is Honestly Happy and Healthy in the first place? I’m not entirely sure, because I’m not quite there all the time. That’s what I’m hoping to find out. :)
